Introduction section

The neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) has 13 active beds, including 6 warmer beds, 6 incubators, 1 intensive phototherapy device and an isolation room for infectious hospitalizations.

This department has benefited from expert doctors and experienced treatment staff in the field of caring for newborns by creating a safe and stress-free environment for parents who are ready to accept newborns.

 

 

 Equipment and facilities:

 Presence of experienced and expert medical staff 24 hours a day in the department.
Equipped monitors for continuous monitoring of babies.
Advanced respiratory devices to help premature babies and babies born with acute respiratory problems.
Advanced phototherapy device to control the amount of jaundice in babies.
The mother’s room is equipped with the necessary facilities.
Infusion pump device.

Electric milking machine.

Regulations of the NICU department:

  •  In order to be informed about the condition of their baby, parents can get the necessary information in person by talking to the attending physician.

  •  It is forbidden to take any photos or film the baby in the ward.

  •  The baby’s meeting with the parents is unimpeded

  • It is necessary for the mother to wear clothes during breastfeeding and hugging.
  • Breastfeeding training, jaundice follow-up training, newborn care, vaccination and newborn screening, and treatment follow-up training after discharge are performed by doctors and nursing staff with experience in the department.
  • Attending with the patient to obtain informed consent before performing some treatment procedures.

 

Attention:
Due to the spread of corona disease and the preservation of the health of your beloved baby, it is only possible for the mother to visit the baby in this department.
